Dr. Mark Allen, MD, is a board certified urologist skillfully trained to treat all disorders and conditions of the male and female urinary tracts as well as the male reproductive system. Treating all general urological ailments in both adult and pediatric patients, he also specializes in cancers of the bladder, kidneys and prostate. Using a wide range of advanced techniques, Dr. Allen routinely performs complex urogynecologic reconstruction procedures, as well as cares for and manages male patients for impotence. He also successfully diagnoses and treats all areas of urinary incontinence in both male and female patients.
Dr. Allen graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin and he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, where he was chosen for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. He completed his internship and residencies in surgery and in urology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN and was ranked in the top percent of doctors by US News & World Report for research quality.
