Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, a member of Texas Health Resources, is a not-for-profit, faith-based health care facility located at West Parker Road and the North Dallas Tollway in Plano. Opened in 1991, the hospital continues to grow as it strives to meet the demands of increasing populations in Plano and neighboring cities. More than 1000 physicians are on the medical staff covering over 67 specialties. There are 368 beds with all private patient rooms. They are the first hospital in the Southwest to use advanced voice-activated robotics in the operating room.   Texas Health Plano received the 2008 Texas Award for Performance Excellence (T.A.P.E.), the state’s highest honor for quality and organizational performance. Texas Health Plano was the first health care facility in Collin County to receive the prestigious honor and the fourth in Texas.
