Balloon Urethroplasty Overview
Balloon urethroplasty is a form of treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), otherwise known as an enlarged prostate. During this non-surgical BPH treatment, an inflatable balloon is inserted into the prostate. When inflated, it relieves pressure on the urethra (the canal that carries urine outside the body) to improve urine flow.
